Our Pre-K students are confident, capable, and eager to learn! In a caring and supportive classroom environment, teachers build strong relationships with each child, encouraging independence while providing guidance, encouragement, and reassurance along the way. We focus on preparing children for a successful transition to kindergarten by building strong social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual foundations.
Through hands-on learning and engaging activities, children strengthen early literacy and math skills, including letter recognition, letter sounds, beginning writing, rhyming, counting, number sense, patterns, and shapes.
Students practice following multi-step directions, working independently, completing tasks, and taking responsibility for their belongings and their learning. Teachers thoughtfully support children as they develop confidence, perseverance, problem-solving skills, and positive relationships with peers.
We also emphasize critical thinking, cooperation, kindness, and respect to help children become confident learners and caring friends. Our Pre-K classroom includes daily enrichment in art, music, movement, and STEM activities, along with weekly chapel and music experiences that nurture children’s faith and growing love for God.
